PARASOL ELITE POWER MEGAWATT SYSTEMS

PEP MW systems

Parasol Elite Power MW systems are made with high-quality components and are configured to create .5MW & 1.2 MW 20 ft containers.

PEP BESS has AC and DC cabinets, fire control system, air conditioning system, temperature and humidity sensors.

Thermal Management System

The interior temperature of the container is maintained between 15oC to 35oC. The CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation shows the maximum temperature differences of the battery is within the tolerance level. The thermal simulation analyzed at 0.5C rate. The highest temperature in the container found to be 36.5oC and the lowest temperature is 31.6oC. During the pack test simulation, measurements of the maximum differential between cell temperatures were 4.9°C. When a fire is detected, the fire suppression system releases either the FM200 or NOVEC1230 extinguishing agent. The BESS system adopts the air conditioning system.

Compliance and Certificates

The PowerCombo-20C2H1200k is designed to be compliant with international standards that are generally accepted to demonstrate minimum safety requirements. These standards include certifications of the batteries by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 1642, UL 1973, and UL 9540. DNV reviewed the full listing of key standards related to the BESS system and agrees that designing to these standards is in line with best practices.

Installation and Integrated system requirements

DNV reviewed the strategies and processes for installation and integration by Cubenergy and found the integration strategy to be within industry best practice. DNV also reviewed documentation for site installation manual, user manual, maintenance, commissioning, and decommissioning. DNV finds these documents to be comprehensive for safe installation and operation and in line with industry standards.
