Solar Power Systems

Solar Generation, Integrated Into the Parasol Power Platform.

Parasol solar systems are specified, engineered, and integrated as part of the complete Parasol behind-the-meter power platform — paired with battery storage, natural gas backup, EMS control, and optional carbon technologies for firm, dispatchable power.

Overview

Solar as a Platform Component, Not a Standalone Product

Parasol does not sell solar panels in isolation. Solar generation is integrated into the Parasol platform alongside battery storage, natural gas generators, EMS controls, and optional carbon capture or pyrolysis systems. This allows solar output to be firmed, dispatched, and managed as part of a complete behind-the-meter power system — delivering reliable power to AI data centers, industrial facilities, agricultural operations, and PPA projects without dependence on the utility grid.

Solar Integration Capabilities

Ground-Mount Utility-Scale Arrays

Fixed-tilt and single-axis tracker configurations for utility-scale and commercial ground-mount deployments. Sized from hundreds of kilowatts through multi-megawatt installations depending on project load requirements and available land.

Rooftop & Carport Systems

Commercial and industrial rooftop solar and carport canopy systems for facilities where ground space is limited. Integrated with Parasol BESS and EMS for behind-the-meter self-consumption and demand charge reduction.

Battery Storage Pairing (BESS)

All Parasol solar installations are designed for integration with Parasol LFP and sodium battery storage systems. Battery pairing converts intermittent solar generation into firm, schedulable power — eliminating curtailment and enabling time-of-use dispatch.

Natural Gas Backup Integration

Solar-plus-storage systems are designed to operate alongside Parasol natural gas generators as a firm backup layer. The EMS coordinates solar, storage, and gas generation to maintain continuous power delivery regardless of solar availability.

EMS Dispatch & Curtailment Control

The Parasol EMS monitors solar inverter output in real time and coordinates generation dispatch, battery charging, and load management across the full power system — optimizing for cost, reliability, and emissions targets simultaneously.

Solar Farm Conversion for AIDC

Existing and planned solar PPA projects can be repositioned as dedicated behind-the-meter power infrastructure for AI data centers. Parasol provides the battery storage, gas backup, EMS overlay, and transformer infrastructure required to convert a solar farm into a firm AIDC power platform.

Platform

How Solar Fits the Parasol Platform

01

Generate

Solar arrays produce DC power during daylight hours. The Parasol EMS monitors output in real time and coordinates generation with load demand.

02

Store

Excess solar generation charges Parasol LFP or sodium battery storage systems. Stored energy is dispatched during low-solar periods, overnight, or during peak demand.

03

Firm

Natural gas generators provide backup generation when solar and storage cannot meet load requirements — ensuring continuous, uninterrupted power delivery.

04

Control

The Parasol EMS coordinates all generation and storage assets in real time — optimizing dispatch, managing curtailment, and maintaining power quality across the full system.

05

Deliver

Firm, managed power is delivered behind the meter to the customer's load — AI data center, industrial facility, agricultural operation, or PPA offtaker.

Applications

Applications

AI Data Center Power

Solar-plus-storage-plus-gas hybrid systems providing firm, behind-the-meter power for AI data center campuses. Solar reduces fuel cost; battery storage and gas backup ensure 24/7 reliability.

Solar PPA Conversion to AIDC

Existing solar PPA projects repositioned as dedicated AIDC power infrastructure — adding battery storage, gas backup, EMS overlay, and transformer upgrades to convert intermittent solar into firm compute power.

Industrial & Factory Power

Behind-the-meter solar reducing energy costs for manufacturing facilities, processing plants, and industrial campuses — paired with storage and backup generation for continuous operations.

Agricultural & Dairy Operations

Solar generation for California Central Valley farms, dairies, and processing facilities — integrated with battery storage for irrigation, refrigeration, and processing loads.

Remote & Off-Grid Power

Solar-plus-storage-plus-gas hybrid microgrids for remote sites where grid connection is unavailable or cost-prohibitive. Solar reduces fuel consumption; storage and gas ensure reliability.

Microgrid & Islanded Systems

Solar as the primary renewable generation source within Parasol microgrid architectures — coordinated with storage and backup generation for islanded or grid-connected operation.
